Civic Cafe and Bar is located in the Michael Fowler Centre's foyer. During the day it serves up great coffee, cabinet food and a quiet space for meetings. In the evenings it opens for pre-performance drinks and dinner. Being a wireless internet hotspot also makes it a popular place for delegates and organisers alike to visit.
The Cafe has a dedicated tasting room for use by event organisers where they can sample menus and discuss catering options for their event. It's also a great space for small cocktail functions and pre-show hostings.
Civic Cafe and Bar is open daily from Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm and in the evenings prior to a performance in the Michael Fowler Centre. Other opening times are specific to events.
Additional public catering is available for shows in:
- the Renouf Foyer in the Michael Fowler Centre
- the West Court in the Wellington Town Hall
- the public kiosks at the TSB Bank Arena
